Happy New Year! It seems like yesterday we headed to San Clemente beach to take our first photo of 2013. And now it is the same day, one fast year later, January 1, 2014. As much as we all wish time would somehow magically slow down, the years race by at an ever-faster pace. We must be thankful for each day and make the most of that gift.
As we bask in the first day of this new year and all of the promise that it holds, I want to thank you for being a reader in 2013. Thank you! Nothing makes me smile more than to read your comments and get into a conversation with you.
When you tell me that your family is now devouring a vegetable they previously would not eat, or that a tip helped you learn something new to make you a more confident cook, or you are now making something homemade and healthier you previously purchased, it reminds me that all of the hard work to write and shoot this blog is worth it.
When you email or comment with questions, I am happy to help and enjoy responding. It connects us! And that’s what a blog is supposed to be – more of a conversation. I love to hear from you. And if there is a recipe or a dish that you wish I would do, then please, email me.
Next week we begin a big re-design of A Food Centric Life. On the” improve” list is better navigation, a logo (finally!) and new features to make the site better for our readers. It will be a ton of work and a big investment, but we are ready and excited to get going with our new design team. The launch date is March 1, 2014, just in time for the release of The Daniel Plan Cookbook.
