Updated every spring, here is the 2021 Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen List. Use this list to make the healthiest and smartest decisions for your family and your budget when shopping for produce. Once again, strawberries top the list for highest pesticides in produce.
2021 Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen List
Each year the Environmental Working Group (EWG) publishes their Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen list. Here are the worst offenders and the cleanest options. Additionally the EWG notes that a small amount of sweet corn, papaya and summer squash sold in the U.S. is grown from genetically modified seeds. Buy organic varieties of these crops to avoid genetically modified produce.
