To make a parfait, layer Greek yogurt, berries, and granola. They taste (and look) more like dessert than breakfast. Build them in jars with lids to make them transportable.
6 ½ouncesplain granola, no dried fruit added1 ½ cups
Optional add-ins
2-3tablespoonsraw honey, maple syrup or keto mapleoptional
4tablespoonscocoa nibsoptional
1teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla pasteor more to taste
Instructions
Right before using, wash your berries, drain and dry on paper towels. For strawberries, cut off the tops and quarter them or chop them depending on the size. If the blackberries are huge, cut them crosswise.
Using 4- 12-16 ounce jars or glasses, layer granola, yogurt, then berries and like in the photo. Repeat for the layers. If you are transporting them, use lids to secure the parfaits. If not transporting, cover with plastic and refrigerate. Parfaits can be made a day ahead or the night ahead.
Notes
If you like vanilla flavor in your yogurt, use vanilla extract, ground vanilla beans or vanilla bean paste. Better to add your own vanilla than buy sweetened vanilla yogurt that is loaded with added sugars.
