    Easy Healthy Party Dips

While the Superbowl is synonymous with great football and must-see commercials, snacks are what keep the real home team fueled to enjoy the spectacle. Here are five easy healthy party dips for serving on game day. Serve them with raw carrots, bell peppers, broccoli and cauliflower florets, whole grain pita chips, baked corn chips, endive spears, cucumber and radish slices, or crackers. And the best thing is, these dips can be made a day ahead, so you too get to enjoy the big game and not worry about the crowd being fed.

    Easy Healthy Party Dips

Whether its for the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Stanley Cup or your local home team game, dips can be great party fare. I say can be, because so many dips are not healthy at all. Packaged mixes are often high in sodium and unhealthy ingredients or use processed ingredients as the base. Why serve food like that when it is so easy to make creamy, satisfying, and delicious dips that you make in just minutes.

    Make Them Ahead

Make these dips the day ahead so you have less to worry about on game day. You can also chop an array of colorful vegetables, choose some organic tortilla chips or rice crackers for the gluten-free crowd, to accompany the dips. Set out a few platters and you'll be ready to go when game time arrives.

These recipes will work for vegetarians as they contain Greek yogurt. For dairy-free or vegan, try the red pepper hummus and omit the Parmesan. As a cheese substitute, try Braggs Nutritional Yeast Seasoning for a cheesy flavor.

For more dairy-free swaps, try organic silken tofu instead of yogurt. Puree until smooth with 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice or an organic soy yogurt. You may need to adjust seasonings to your taste.
